 Luangprabang was accepted as UNESCO’S world heritage site in December 1995, heritage house including two being in separate location is set up to help preserve on the conversation of the city. Luangprabang one the capital of Lao nestle on a peninsula at the confluence of the Namkhan River and Mekong River it is surrounded by steep mountain giving it a sense of isolation and mystery but its River location has ensured its long standing links to outside world. Luangprabang was the most southern link to ancient Silk Road trading route. Luangprabang’s importance as an historic and cultural site has been acknowledged in UNESCO’S listing of the town of the world heritage site 1995.
